On the 28 -29 Apr 21 Coptrz held the first UK Drone specific convention, branded as Coptrz Con 2021. Coptrz are the United Kingdom’s largest commercial drone school and distributor of drones. To promote the benefits drones can bring to our everyday lives and highlight there use by the industry today, Coptrz hosted the first Coptrz Con event (virtually due to COVID restrictions). This saw leading drone experts and businesses provide highly valuable information and incite through a series of webinars over the course of the two days. This proved to be a hugely successful event and is set to go international in 2022……We cannot wait.

As part of this event Coptrz put together a series of awards for innovation and achievements of merit in the drone industry.

All the award categories were packed with worthy nominations and BB Drone Services Ltd were simply happy to be considered for any award.
After hearing the announcements of all the very worthy winners, it came to the time for the announcement of the last award, which was the prestigious People Choice Award. To our surprise Andy Blake, Director / Remote Drone Operator for BB Drone Services Ltd was announced as the winner. The awards presenters stated that Andy Blake was selected from a group of over one hundred nominees because of the amazing work that BB Drone Services Ltd has achieved in such a short period of time. It was commented on that BB Drone Services Ltd have made real waves in the industry and despite being a relatively new business it has been identified as a role model on how to set up a successful drone business.
Andy Blake and BB Drone Services Ltd are extremely honoured to have been selected for this award and are thankful to Coptrz Con for the recognition. This award will help BB Drone Services Ltd raise its profile even further and included as part of the award Andy Blake will receive £1000 worth of further professional drone training, allowing the company to provide an advanced service to its clients above and beyond most other drone companies.
